NEAR Data Levels
- Level 1B: Data that have been sorted by instrument data types and instrument modes. Data are in scientifically useful forms, such as FITS images or individual spectra. These data are not calibrated.
- Level 2: Calibrated and "cleaned" data, in scientific units.
- Level 3: Higher-level data products, such as browse tools and image mosaics, developed for specific scientific investigations.
